It was in the central location very close to everything. Meals were good, and there was Kambanata near the hotel.

Stylish room, bed was comfortable plus there was a big size bathroom. Bar was perfect for a breakfast. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the central bus station which is very convenient, Biomed bus terminal for Sofia and Varna, and the famous Tsarevets fortress. There was Restaurant "ethno", max 5 mins walk to, enjoyed their meals👍👍

The location was particularly good and amazing, close to the attractions like monuments and an art gallery, and others. The staff, everyone, was polite and understanding.

Everything was LOVELY, had a lovely stay in a fun town. Our twin room with central heating, a work desk and a flat-screen TV with cable channels was brand-new. The staff was professional from arrival until we left. The hotel had indeed a top and peaceful location close to everything. The downstairs bar was amazing, really enjoyed this place. Was an enjoyable base for weekend.

I stayed at City Hotel in Veliko Tarnovo for one night. The hotel is well located and has a unique "travel/Route 66" design. The room was small but clean, with AC and an electric kettle. The best thing about the hotel is the city pub attached to it, which offers great food and beer at a discounted price. The breakfast, served in the restaurant next door, was fresh and one of the best I've had in Bulgaria. it's a great place for a short stay.

our stay at veliko in city hotel was amazing this summer! the location was perfect, close to attractions and walking tour. the staff was super helpful and we loved that we could leave our luggage after check-out. overall, a very positive experience!

Bathroom had a strong smell at night.

Loved the convenient location just steps away from the bus station. The rock-themed bar on the first floor was a great touch and we enjoyed being able to order food to our room from there. The room itself was clean and had a trendy urban/bohemian style that we adored. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the WiFi worked perfectly.

The breakfast was a disappointment. We opted to have it served in our room, but it ended up being cold and not as tasty as we had hoped.
